GTA 6 Pre-Order: Editions, Prices & Bonus Content
Two editions, two prices, one time-limited bonus - and no Collector's Edition, despite what the retailer leak said.

Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI opened on June 25, 2026. There are two editions - that is the complete list, despite months of leaks pointing at a tiered lineup with a premium collector's box.
| Edition | Price | Format | Contents |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | $79.99 | Physical & digital | Base game |
| Ultimate Edition | $99.99 | Digital only | Base game plus premium vehicles, weapons, and apparel |

Both editions include the Vintage Vice City Pack when purchased before November 20, 2026 - that is a launch-window bonus, not a pre-order-only one, so you have until the day after release.
What the Ultimate Edition actually adds
Rockstar describes it as an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, and apparel. That is the full published description - no story content, no expansion, no season pass. Whether the items are meaningfully different from what you find in-game or are effectively early access to things you would unlock anyway has not been detailed.
| Included | Standard | Ultimate |
|---|---|---|
| Base game | Yes | Yes |
| Premium vehicles | No | Yes |
| Premium weapons | No | Yes |
| Premium apparel | No | Yes |
| Vintage Vice City Pack (before Nov 20) | Yes | Yes |
| Physical disc option | Yes | No |
The Collector's Edition that isn't
Before pre-orders opened, a listing on FNAC Portugal showed three price points converting to roughly $103, $138, and $229, which was widely read as standard, deluxe, and collector's tiers. Neither Rockstar nor the retailer ever confirmed those names or prices, and when pre-orders actually opened there were two editions. If you are holding out for a statue bundle, there is currently nothing to hold out for.
Third-party sites selling GTA VI 'collector's bundles' or discounted keys are not selling a product Rockstar offers. Buy from the platform stores or established retailers.
On the $79.99 price
Worth noting without editorialising: $79.99 is above the $69.99 that became standard for current-generation releases. Rockstar has not commented on the pricing, and whether it becomes an industry benchmark is a question for after launch rather than one anyone can answer now.
The two editions side by side
| Standard | Ultimate | |
|---|---|---|
| US price | $79.99 | $99.99 |
| The full game | Yes | Yes |
| Vintage Vice City Pack, if pre-ordered | Yes | Yes |
| Vehicles | None extra | Six, including the Cheetah and the Dominator Buggy |
| Weapons | None extra | Three named, as engraved variants |
| Businesses | See note below | Four named as 'only open for business' with it |
| Activities | None extra | The PTT Youngin$ raid and Wyman's project cars |
| GTA+ month | No | Yes, for GTA Online |
| Physical availability | Yes | Digital, per current listings |
The businesses row is the one Rockstar has not clarified. Four venues carry the line 'only open for business with the Ultimate Edition', which could mean the exclusive stock is gated or the venue is. The difference is substantial and unresolved.
What is identical between them
- The story, the map and all announced base content.
- The release date - both launch November 19, 2026.
- The pre-order bonus, which is the Vintage Vice City Pack on both.
- Platform availability on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- Everything Rockstar has described about how the game plays.
The Ultimate Edition adds items and possibly four venues. It does not add story, map or any announced system, and nothing about it changes what the game is.
It is cosmetic and equipment content, not extra story. If you want the vehicles and apparel on day one, it is the only route; if not, the Standard Edition is the same game.
No. It is digital only.
No. No PC version has been announced, so there is nothing to pre-order.
Yes, as long as the purchase is before November 20, 2026.
Not announced. Neither edition includes one and Rockstar has not mentioned post-launch story content.
