Boobie Ike: The Jack of Hearts and a Legitimate Empire
Real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. Rockstar calls him a local Vice City legend who acts like it - and the one thing he is most invested in is a record label.

Boobie Ike is the supporting character Rockstar has drawn most completely. His official description gives him a business portfolio, a reputation, a partnership and a tell - which is more characterisation than most GTA supporting cast get in the finished game, let alone before launch.
Boobie is a local Vice City legend - and acts like it. One of the few to transform his time in the streets into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio - Boobie's all smiles until it's time to talk business.
What is confirmed
| Detail | Status |
|---|---|
| Based in Vice City | Confirmed |
| Owns real estate | Confirmed |
| Owns a strip club - the Jack of Hearts | Confirmed |
| Owns a recording studio | Confirmed |
| Partner in Only Raw Records with Dre'Quan Priest | Confirmed |
| Came up 'in the streets' | Confirmed |
| Playable | No - not a protagonist |
| Antagonist or ally | Never stated |
The tagline Rockstar attaches to him - "It's all about heart - the Jack of Hearts" - names his club directly, and the club appears in four separate official screenshots. For a supporting character, that is a lot of the press budget spent on one location.
The line that gives the game away
The club money pay for the studio, and the drug money pay for it all.
Rockstar publishes a short quote for each named character, and Boobie's is the most informative of the set. It explicitly undercuts the word "legitimate" in his own description: the real estate and the studio are downstream of something that is not legitimate at all.
That structure - a laundering pyramid presented by its owner as a success story - is a recognisable GTA character type, and it is the clearest indication available of what role he plays in the plot.

The Only Raw Records connection
Rockstar states that despite appearances, the thing Boobie is most invested in is his partnership with Dre'Quan Priest for Only Raw Records - "now they just need a hit". That single clause links three of the eight named supporting characters into one storyline.
| Character | Connection to Only Raw Records |
|---|---|
| Boobie Ike | Owns the studio; partner in the label |
| Dre'Quan Priest | Aspiring music mogul; runs the label |
| Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy) | Signed to the label |
| DWNPLY | Local rapper; earlier hit single with Real Dimez |
Half the named supporting cast sits inside a single record label plot. That is a strong signal about how much of GTA VI's side content is built around the music industry, and it is one of the few structural things the press material genuinely reveals.

What his screenshots show
- Counting cash in a club back office with his feet up on the desk.
- Checking his phone outside the Jack of Hearts.
- A close portrait holding a drink under pink club lighting.
- The stage and bar of the Jack of Hearts, lit in magenta.
Three of the four are interiors. Rockstar has published very few interior spaces overall, so a supporting character whose set is mostly indoors is a hint that the venue is enterable - though the studio has not said so.
What is still unknown
- Whether the Jack of Hearts is an enterable location or a mission backdrop.
- Whether Boobie is an ally, an employer, a rival or a target.
- Whether the businesses he owns are ever player-owned or player-run.
- How he connects to Jason and Lucia, if at all - Rockstar has never linked them.
- Who voices him.
The empire, itemised
Rockstar names three business categories for Boobie, and the published material lets you attach specifics to two of them.
| Business | What is known |
|---|---|
| Strip club | The Jack of Hearts - named, and shown across four official screenshots |
| Recording studio | Tied to Only Raw Records with Dre'Quan Priest |
| Real estate | Named as a category; no property has been identified |
| Funding source | His own quoted line attributes it to drug money |
The third row is the gap. Real estate is the least visible of the three and the one that would matter most if property or business ownership were a player system - which Rockstar has not announced in any form.
Only Raw Records as a content strand
Four of the eight named characters connect through one record label, which is the densest cluster in the entire cast. It is worth laying out because it is the clearest structural hint the character pages contain.
- Boobie Ike owns the studio and is Dre'Quan's partner in the label.
- Dre'Quan Priest runs it, described as 'more of a hustler than a gangster' with music as the goal all along.
- Real Dimez - Bae-Luxe and Roxy - are signed to it after an earlier hit with a rapper named DWNPLY.
- Rockstar's line about Dre'Quan setting his sights on the Vice City scene implies the label is trying to grow.
Rockstar closes Boobie's description with 'now they just need a hit'. That is a goal stated for a supporting character, which the studio has done for almost nobody else - and goals stated in character copy usually become objectives.

What a music-industry strand would look like
This is speculation about structure rather than a claim about content, and it is worth flagging as such. Grand Theft Auto has repeatedly built side content around an industry - film in GTA V, media and nightlife in GTA IV's expansions.
| Series precedent | How it worked |
|---|---|
| GTA V - Solomon Richards | Film studio missions as a distinct strand for one protagonist |
| GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony | Nightclub management framing an entire expansion |
| GTA V - Lester's assassinations | A single character as the hub for a mission set |
| GTA VI - Only Raw Records | Four named characters, a stated goal, no announced structure |
The pattern is real and the conclusion is not. Rockstar has assembled the pieces of a music-industry storyline in its character copy and has never described a mission, activity or system attached to any of it.
A named supporting character described by Rockstar as a local Vice City legend who turned street money into real estate, a strip club and a recording studio.
Boobie's strip club, named in Rockstar's own copy and shown across several official screenshots.
Rockstar has never linked him to Jason or Lucia. His published connections are to Dre'Quan Priest and Only Raw Records.
Nothing about property or business ownership has been announced.
Not stated. Rockstar describes him as all smiles until it is time to talk business, which is characterisation rather than a role.
